You never know when disaster can strike. But when it does one should be prepared, even though I have no idea how one can prepare for chewing gum getting stuck in your hair, God forbid it happens to any girl.
Anyway yesterday was the official bad hair day. I was well chewing gum which again I have no clue why. So well I had to spit it out and my hair well are extra poofy and I have no clue how, while I was spitting the gum did it manage to get stuck in my hair.
But however, the gum still found a way to get stuck in my hair, The first thing that came to my mind was to wash it off by water to probably manage to dilute it. It did not work.
I then tried using shampoo, but to no avail. Then a failed attempt at trying to use hair conditioner. I tried combing it out but no, again to no avail. Irritated and anxious, I tried using hand wash. Nothing happened. My mom by this time got worried (I hadn't told her that there was chewing gum in my hair). She pounded on the bathroom door and I lied that I was taking a bath. She believed it. I tried the soap as well. Finally after all this, I gave up and told my mom. She laughed! The disappointment in my face must have been clear because she stopped. She said she will help me later and made me eat lunch first. I stuffed as much as I could and rushed to the bathroom to attend to my tresses, my precious tresses. My dad called at the time and told me that nail polish remover also helps. It didn't help. Finally when I could do nothing else I gave up and chopped the locks off, with tears in my eyes I threw them in the garbage can. I knew I shouldn't cry over it and it was my fault, because if I hadn't eaten the thing in the first place it would have not happened. I tried hiding my sorrow in music and well I succeeded and that is all I wish to say about that incident.
