Mrs. Flames Academy for Winged Creatures, was the best in the land of Magix from where the people graduated to protect the human world (light) and destroy the human world (dark). The hallways were made of silver and the classrooms were gold! literally.
Lucy and Jane were the most popular girls at school, like a redefined version of the plastics, so naturally they were the most spoilt and most hated but yet every student was still a slave in front of their feet.
It was the final year where everyone would get their wings on the Wing Ceremony the people of Darkness would get black wings and the people of Light get white wings.
The purity and shade of the color determines the heart of a student.
" I don't get it humans aren't allowed in the university, and when Annie applied no one stopped her." Jane said with a face of horrible disgust.
"I KNOW RIGHT! And I have to share a room with that wretch!" exclaimed Lucy.
"Hi Lucy, hi Jane!" said Carol as she passed them.
"Hi Carol!"replied Lucy.
Carol was Jane's roommate and currently was overexcited The Lucy had replied to her! But Carol failed to notice the smirk on Lucy's face nor had she noticed the spell! Alas! Poor Carol the frog had to hop to her spell casting lesson.
Lucy arrived late, as usual an of course Mr.Spell didn't mind at all.
Carol was normal again and Lucy gave Carol an apologetic smile even though both of them knew she didn't mean it.
Lucy had to sit beside Annie as they were roommates and this was one non flexible rule that wouldn't even bend for Lucy.
"Hey, Non Magix!" Lucy said to Annie. By the way Non Magix was a nickname for Annie given by Lucy.
"What?"
"Shift aside " Lucy used her knifey rude tone.
"Okay class, today we will each have a practice spell battle, each of you is to know three attack and defense spells,given that it was your homework last week, you will be graded for the same. Normal or basic life spells may be used, no fire spells we do not want any deaths!" explained Mr.Spell.
By the time it was Lucy's turn most of the students were frozen,petrified or crying in pain except for Jane of course who had already turned Carol into a frog again, during their battle.
According to the Non Flexible rule Lucy had to fight Annie.
"You may begin!" Mr. Spell said.
Firs Lucy electrocuted Annie with a zap spell and in return was drenched by Annie's hydro spell. Then Lucy turned her self invisible and attacked with a Block-senses spell to which Annie turned Lucy blue, irritated Lucy froze Annie and won.

After a speech from Mrs.Flames,the principal,all students were given little vials with a bubbly pink potion in it.
The drank it, and started floating in air their bodies glowed with a brilliant white light, and slowly little wings appeared from their backs after that the growth was rapid and soon the students had strong wings.
The colors take a lot of time to come so they were colorless wings.
"Now students remember, that none of you should have the same shade of the same color in your wings unless you are siblings of course." announce Mrs.Flames.
After the students reached their rooms,they got busy in chatter. A few hours passed and the students got colors.
Jane got yellow, which meant she was kind, and belonged to light.
Carol had pink, which meant she was loving.
But both Lucy and Annie got the same shade of gray , their hearts hadn't decided what they chose.
"We are sisters?!" They both gasped.
"Well, I am a better person than you and also considering the fact that you were so popular for so long its my chance now,no one will know we are sisters and I can enjoy Light while you can be in Darkness!"exclaimed Annie.
"Huh?"
Lucy's wings slowly turned black as the night and Annie's turned white as snow.
"A simple charm that I learned." said Annie slyly.
But that's when Lucy's heart chose light, the spell Annie had conjured was too strong and Lucy's skin started to shrivel and wither as she fell to the floor dead.
Annie stood shocked. Her eyes widened with realization.
