Thoughts I have when I am going to a new grade.

It was clear that I no longer would be able to see my friends from my previous class, anymore. Sure, we promised each other that we will still be friends but, a part of me knew that these kinds of promises don't last long.

The report card day is the most terrifying day for any student as everyone is scared of what result they might get. But sometimes when the grades are perfect what terrifies is the fact that they will go to a new class. With new people, new faces and a new everything.

I was terrified not because of my grades, but because of the new class that I was assigned. I wouldn't have been this terrified if this were my previous school because I wasn't new there. I was in that school for seven years and knew nearly everyone. I was anxious. I am not like the other girls in my class, they seem to have no problem in socialising, its just my problem. I find it impossible to socialise. I have a friend from my previous class in my new class as well but I know she will know most of the people in our new class and I'll be sitting alone  in some lonely dark corner where no one would be interested in talking to me. Apart from the fear of socialising with new students, the pain of not having my last year's class teacher also hurts. The thought that I will have new teachers leaves me feeling like a hollow log.

I still remember the last day of school, it did not feel like such a great deal of having a new class, but now, when I'm so close to going to my new class I realize how much I don't want to go.

Our previous class was known for our misbehaviour, and the entire year I had prayed to be promoted to a new class without any student from that class and well, God answered my prayer. I don't recognise anyone in my class.

My best friend is not in my class nor is my worst enemy. I will have to find a new rival to compete with in class for the first position and the fear inside me is like an endless pit in which I keep falling, not reaching the bottom just falling. Falling into nothingness.

The new students don't scare me as much as the new teachers do.
I fear losing my math teacher the most. I also have the anxiety of whether or not will I get to be a prefect, I cannot afford to have someone I dislike being a prefect. It scares me even more to think that what if people who hate me get to be the Head boy or Head girl, how will they use their position to revenge against me. The study more part does not scare me that much, but the thickness of the books is frightening. The effort of trying to fit in is worse.

I guess I will be staying out of the crowd and will be labelled as creep, in bold red letters. I think that is all I wish to say about the matter and will also promise to post more frequently.

What sense? Nonsense.

Hello people of earth!! Today I am going to be posting a story written by me, Ayushi and Janushi (who happen to be some pretty amazing friends)
Well, the story is........ supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
It was not written using brains the origin of this marvelous piece of writing dates back to 4th of this month. Also I think I should tell you how it was written.
Well it was this game, where you have to write a sentence with the word limit being only 5 words per chance, it is okay if you are not able to complete the sentence. Then whatever you have written is passed on to the next person and so on...
This is like a loop within the people who are participating. The loop does not end till "The End"

Another thing is I would like to introduce you to
the writers of this exceptionally well written piece of nonsense.

Ayushi
Janushi

Me (Annie)

Also it is colour coded, I am red, Ayushi is black and Janushi is blue

The Fault In Our                                                  Thoughts(not a parody)

Once upon a beautiful morning, Raina woke up and looked at the chirping birds outside and found something really fishy. There was something gross lying, it was her dead cat. She stood there crying and all the memories came flashing, stabbing her mind like knives. However, she freshened up with water and prepared to mourn for the cat had died on her 18th birthday. She was frustrated, how did her mom kill the cat. Her mom stood there as if nothing had happened....... How,the room reeked of blood....that flowed out of the body. How can she do that?
"Lady! How could you?!" yelled Raina at the top of her lungs. She fell on the cat and the blood was all over her body. Tear stains were on her cheeks, she instantly clicked a picture of the cat in her mind, which will stay forever......She wanted revenge......She wanted her wild dreams to be shattered.
"I won't kill my mom, I'll ruin her reputation in front of dad."
She remembered how rude stepmom was, she had to kill her negative thoughts for her. Stepmom always favoured her stepsister, She removed all positivity from her daughter and Raina became good friends though. Raina loved her cat, she forgave the sins her mom did. All her life she spent miserably, now Karma did good to her future life. She thought that teenager life will be nicer, fate WILL change, sun will rise and bring new hopes. She missed her cat.

MORAL: Never kill your daughter's cat because she'll get angry. Just keep your thoughts intact and to yourself.

                                The End

DISCLAIMER: I humbly apologize for the irritation/frustration/dissappontment this article may have caused you. This is totaaly fictional and no cat has died that belonged to Raina, infact we don't even know who Raina is. Thank you for withstanding the mental torture<3.

The pre and post phases of exams

Hello people ! I know that I am writing after ages but you cannot blame me.... I had my test papers to write

And today... I shall be writing bout the different phases in a student's life pre and post the test.

  • The one day before the exam: The student studies, revises, learns and does not stop.
  • The last minute: This is the particular time where one gets to know that there is one extra chapter that is being tested.
  • The best friend: This particular moment converts all acquaintances and enemies into best friends; everyone needs answers.
  • 'I NEED AN ANSWER!!!':  This is specifically when everyone seems to know the answer but you and also everyone is deaf when you are asking for help.
  • Finally over: This is it after all that writing, asking for answers and giving answers, the paper finally comes to an end.
  • The joy: The test is over, currently all the answers are accurate,  and it is sure that you are going to get full marks
  • The horror: Then when proudly you are discussing answers with your classmates you realize 50% of your answers are wrong.
  • 'Try to forget': This is when one tries to forget that he have written the answers wrong remember the right answers and when asked he tells the right answers instead of what he has written. But alas he has to come clean at the report card day.

A Day in the life of a bookworm

Sipping along with a good book, who doesn’t enjoy it.
It is like escaping into a world where dragons exist and you actually have a chance of meeting unicorns. The joy of reading cannot be described , however one can describe what life is like when someone is simply imbued to a book.

Early morning before saying “Good Morning mom!” or “What a lovely morning!” the people who are addicted to books start reading. When the mother finally gets annoyed and yells at the bookworm for not keeping the book down, the book is closed. After the same old ritual of the morning which includes brushing, taking a bath and getting dressed for school, the book is read at the breakfast table. The book is also read in the school bus. The book is not closed yet , it is read before and after the morning assembly and also glanced at during the assembly. The book is read before the teacher arrives and after the teacher leaves. At this point of time the reader is so glued to the story that it becomes nearly impossible to keep the book down. The reader lies about being ill and reads during sports class while the other students do uninteresting things like running, jumping, jogging and  exercising.  there  is one moment that every reader despises it is called the ‘recess’ or ‘lunch break’. While the entire school is echoing with noises such as laughter, giggling and chatter , the reader reads. It is very difficult to concentrate over a book, with all the noise during the dreaded lunch break, to make matters worse the sound of the noisy school bell snaps one right out of the story.
While the reader is mulling over the book the teacher announces that there is to be a class test tomorrow.
Another frustrating moment in the life of a reader is when told to keep the book down and study! Also, one of the most stereotyped moment in every bookworm’s life is bumping into things while reading and locomoting.
The book is read during dinner, after dinner and before dinner.
In one point of time when there are only one hundred and seventy pages left, the head is filled with questions, worry, excitement and doubt. ‘What happens to the treasure?’ ‘What is the end like?’ ‘What am I supposed after finishing this book?’
The book is read till three o’clock in the night, when it is finally over and when the excitement subsides, a hot lump starts forming in the throat, sweat drips down the forehead, chills run down the spine as the reader remembers the class test! The teacher’s voice keeps echoing in the head. And for a moment a totally wild idea of skipping school comes to the head. But alas! It doesn’t work…..
What will happen next? Will the reader fail the class test? Well, that my friend is an entirely different story for an entirely different time.

A day in the life of an Indian school girl

The first thing I would do is apologize for such a delayed entry,I was out of ideas and was confused on what to write...

this particular article is about a perpetual life if an Indian girl.

" AREY!! GET UP! YOU ARE LATE FOR SCHOOL!!"
unlike normal people my alarm clock was my mom.
I yawned and rubbed my eyes sleepily.
I literally dragged myself to the bathroom and brushed my teeth after that I continued with the daily ritual of getting dresses and packing my bag and stuffing a massive chunk of bread in my mouth and rushing out to catch my school bus.

Once reaching school, climbing the endless stairs to the class room with a 5 tonne bag hanging from my shoulder and slowing me down.
Upon reaching the class people like me (who are very sincere) open our bags and start drinking water while gossiping and the other category of students study, by the time we are done discussing all about how the head girl has no decency whatsoever and how the uniform should be of a different color and how one should not have these endless stairs but escalators and elevators in schools it is time for the assembly. First the prayer which is sung by a choir that just can't sing! Then a particular class conducts the assembly on the topic given. To be more detailed first the assembly begins with a quote, then some information based on the assigned topic, after that something like a talent competition in which one or two students sing some random song, recite some random poem which is supposed to be "inspirational" and then we stand in attention for the National Anthem. After the assembly that makes me sleepy again we have the class attendance where the teacher calls out our name roll number wise. The class teacher leaves the class, while we wait for our subject teacher to come, the unfortunate class monitor is left to take care of the wild class.

"Oye! 2nd sum was homework!!" screams a student.
"Please maintain discipline;" the monitor says with disinterest.

The subject teacher finally arrives and the monitor lets out a sigh of relief.

" Okay, class! Open your books to chapter 3, Hydrogen!" says the  teacher.
One thing about  Indian teachers is that they have a typical pronunciation. Also they strain on the capital letters.

"The HYDROGEN is the most of the reactive of the elements, it has ONE electron in its shell." said the teacher. I yawned . After that the teacher talked some more, I didn't listen. All classes were the same, I didn't listen.

During recess me and my friends gathered around a table and we discussed random topics. My dabba had bhindi and chapati, after recess we had some other classes and we were done for the day. I slept in the entire long bus ride home.

For lunch were leftovers along with garam garam chapatis and raita. After stuffing myself up properly I watched a little television and then went for my Math tutions at 4. While I was walking I listened to disco deewane~ new version. The one hour tution was tiring and after that I came home and drank a glass of milk. Then I went outside to play with my friends. I came home did my home work revised chapters and once I was done I ate dinner while watching my all time favorite bollywood movie called as Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

At night , I lay in bed recalling the day and thinking, that yes, zindagi na milegi dobara !

The modern day Cinderella~ NARRATED

It was morning and I brushed my teeth got ready and went down to the kitchen to make tea for my step family.
Bruno the dog greeted me with a wagging tail. I fed the horse, the dog,the chicken, the mice and the devil of a cat,Lucifer who belonged to my stepmom but I had to take care of his 'basic needs'. I removed the kettle from the induction cooker and served the tea. I went to my stepmom's room where my step sisters were barking like dogs on what to wear and on what not to wear. Lucifer walked in confidently, and one of the spoilt sisters shoved him out again. The door bell rang, I opened the door and was handed an invite from the palace for a party, I gave it to stepmom and she read it aloud for all of us to hear.

" Prince Charming, invites you to his 18th birthday party tonight  at 9 the party will last as long as the guests don't leave so it might last till 6 in the morning, please arrive at the castle at 9 sharp."

My step sisters started shreiking with delight, while they did that I skyped fairy godmother and told her everything and she said that she would provide me the dress and all that stuff.
I did my chores which involved all the house work . I vaccumed the floor and then used the steam mop to mop the floor, after that I stuffed the clothes in the washing machine and the dishes in the dish washer. I dusted the house while I played music on my bluetooth speaker. Then I googled a recipe for lunch and the perfect outfits for a party.
By the time I finished with the house chores it was time to leave and a limo was waiting outside for us, my sisters wore identical short, black dresses and stepmom wore a pathetic pink tight skirt with a t-shirt that said  ' Love being a Teen '.
I was not yet ready and they said they were late so they left without me.
I was so upset, I called fairy godmother and told her everything she came over really quickly, ahe gave me a black croptop and a pair of denim shorts, I wore glass heels with it and heavy mascarra along with  an orange lipstick which looked amazing with my neon nalipolish . I went in our car and when I reached the castle I could hear the EDM music inside I walked in and texted fairy godmother.

ME: I have reached
FAIRY GODMOTHER: K
ME: Now what?!
FAIRY GODMOTHER: IDK, curfew is 12 in the night.

I slid my phone in my pocket and greeted the prince, we dabced and danced and danced. After that we walked a little and spoke, and then the clock struck 12 and I rushed out it was difficult to run i  heels so I quickly got rid of them on the steps of the palace, the prince thought it was for him and he set out to search for me. Stepmom got to know I was late and locked me in my room as punishment, the prince came to our house did the shoe formality and we both went away to his palace where I had my own iPod and we hosted numerous parties and never invited  my ' Love being a Teen' stepmom.
Fairy godmother had amazing fashion sense and she wore all funky clothes and she also had peircings  and numerous tattoos, life could never be better .
                                                THE END
